The latest eScooter from popular brand Segway is the C2 Pro. This is a top notch adult scooter and one of the best adult electric scooters around. But I don’t want to give away my Segway Ninebot C2 Pro review just yet. As I’d like to show you some real life pics and point out the main features.
I’ve tested this scooter extensively, so thought I’d jot down all my thoughts for you here.

Hi I’m Mark, a scooter expert for ScootersForAdults.co.uk. I own quite a few electric scooters, and when I tested this Segway Ninebot C2 Pro, I was quite frankly blown away. But…there’s a lot to talk about and point out with this scooter, so let’s dive in.
👀 First Impressions: Segway Ninebot C2 Pro Review
The Segway C2 Pro is a well-rounded scooter for both teens and adults, that punches above its weight with smart features like ambient lighting, bluetooth speaker (which is an awesome additional feature most eScooters don’t yet have), and a respectable 17 km claimed range. It’s strong, fun, and a quality option as a cheaper but still well-built eScooter.

Brand: Segway
Price Range: £199
Best for: Latest modern tech like built in Bluetooth speaker
I love the blue strip and the design of this electric scooter. The grips and speed are just what I look for in a scooter. It also folds really easily, and although, like most eScooters they are heavy to hold for a long time, but in terms of folding for storage it’s a really neat fit.
🏆 If you’re not sure about the Segway we recommend the: i9Max iScooter…

Here are some close up pics of the actual thing. And my foot neatly placed on it so you can see how much leg room there is for an adult shoe (size 9). So it’s super roomy, easily fits two feet on, and it looks really smart I must say. Excellent grip I found on the deck too and a comfortable ride.

🚲 Ride & Comfort: Segway Ninebot C2 Pro Review
🛞 Ride feel
Thanks to its 7″ hollow tyres, the C2 Pro offers decent comfort for paved surfaces. The tyres are maintenance-free, which is great, no need to worry about punctures.
🎛️ Control
The three-step adjustable handlebar is a real plus, allowing the scooter to grow with the rider if needed to adjust.
⚡Power & range
The 150W motor is modest but appropriate for the design. In Sport Mode, power-assist helps, but the 108 Wh battery means range is somewhat restricted, but I never found it too much of an issue.
🧳 Folding & portability
It folds down reasonably compactly; at 10.7 kg it’s not super light, but manageable for its build.
🌈 Fun factor
The RGB ambient lights under the deck and built-in Bluetooth speaker make rides more engaging.
🛑 Safety
The rear drum brake is simple and reliable I found.
👍 Pros & 👎 Cons: Segway Ninebot C2 Pro Review
I’ve written out some pros and cons for you to see. I jotted these down as I tested it, so these are real world opinions as I used it for over a week.
Pros:
- Adjustable handlebar (3 height levels)
- RGB lighting + Bluetooth speaker
- Maintenance-free tyres
- Three ride modes
- Foldable design – really practical for storage or transport
Cons:
- Max rider weight is slightly limited
- Range is modest (17 km claimed)
- Small battery (108 Wh) – though that helps reduce it’s weight
- Rear drum brake only

This is certainly a light scooter in terms of an electric one, which are always much heavier than kick scooters. In terms of foldability it rates highly as an easy to fold scooter. Here are the wheels for you to see, robust, not too big, and encased well. I found they could take most U.K. surfaces.

⭐ Final Verdict & Rating: Segway Ninebot C2 Pro Review
The Segway Ninebot C2 Pro strikes a strong balance between fun features and sensible performance. It’s not a high-powered eScooter, but that’s ok, for the price, which is very low for an eScooter, it fits the bill perfectly.
🛴 I’d give this scooter a top score of: 5 / 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Look at that blue, it’s classy, slick and a great scooter. Ok it’s not the most powerful on the market, or the lightest, but it’s certainly got a lot of features for such a cheap electric scooter. Also you know you’re buying a good quality scooter with the Segway brand.
🏆 Or – another alternative is the: i9Max iScooter…
❓ FAQs: Segway Ninebot C2 Pro Review
No, as with most private e-scooters, it’s only legal on private property unless part of a rental scheme. Check out our electric scooter guide for more details on current UK escooter laws.
Yes via the Segway / Ninebot app you can limit speed, which is great for parental control.
In standard mode with a light rider (~50 kg), Segway claims up to 17 km of range.
The 150W motor will handle gentle hills, but steep climbs or heavy loads may strain performance.
